Spanish Young Chef of the Year 2010
Foods from Spain has launched its second annual initiative to reward excellent new chefs creating Spanish dishes and using Spanish ingredients.
The winner will have the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to visit and train in the kitchens of El Bulli, Roses, Spain, and be given the title of Spanish Young Chef of the Year
Open to anyone between the ages of 17 and 25 who is studying catering or hospitality courses, or already working in the industry, the competition seeks to find the best young Spanish chef in Britain. Entrants must design a delicious three-course meal for four covers using selected Spanish fresh produce and other ingredients.
A panel of leading chefs, restaurateurs and food writers will judge the final round of the competition at a cook off at Westminster College, London, on January 16, 2010.
