Spanish Young Chef of the Year to be decided on January 16th, 2010
Foods from Spain has announced the shortlist for its Spanish Young Chef of the Year 2010 competition.
The announcement comes after judging of the first round of the competition took place earlier this month.
The shortlist is as follows:
- James Bevan, Westminster Kingsway College
- Juan Camilo Sanchez Chavez
- Selin Kiazim, The Providores
- Alfonso Garcia Sanchez
- Ben Murphy
- Chris Turnbull, Glasgow Food Tech
- Shaun Warner, West Suffolk College
- Ben Wilkinson, Kendal College
The final cook off will take place at Westminster College, London, on January 16th 2010. The first placed entrant will be named Spansih Young Chef of the Year 2010, and win a training placement at El Bulli, voted the World's Best Restaurant for the last four years by Restaurant magazine.
